Developing entrepreneurship and enhancing livelihoods through secondary income generation for financially challenged women.
The Income Generation Program (IGP) takes the skills of women who have already learnt tailoring and cutting, to the next level. Through training programs, they become adept at creating beautiful handmade products.
The new and enhanced skill set supplements the women’s livelihood of tailoring. A second income earned from fashionably designed products transforms them from small-scale ‘darjees’ into entrepreneurs!
IsFon has a range of over 30 exquisite products designed based on current market trends, such as Gift Bags, Gift Envelopes, Gift Boxes, Table Mats, Water Bottle Bags, Saree Covers, Jewellery Pouches, Shoe Bags, Batwas and so on.
These handcrafted products have been showcased at various prestigious exhibitions and at corporate events held in Pune and Mumbai such as:
Several bulk orders for special occasions and gifting were received through these exhibitions. Participation at these exhibitions also help to generate awareness of our women empowerment initiative (ISFON IGP).

View CatalogueThis is one of the most innovative and successful initiative of the Foundation. It empowers financially challenged women, fondly called ‘Muskaan Parees’, helping them to earn an additional income.
Ladies from various walks of life from Pune and Mumbai are associated with IshFon as ‘Brand Ambassadors’. They graciously support the initiative by collecting pre-owned garments and accessories on a periodic basis. These pre-owned garments given by the Brand Ambassadors are checked for quality and usability and then re-sold by the Muskaan Parees at nominal price underprivileged areas of Pune.
The program gives them an opportunity to earn secondary income. The initiative practices the reuse - recycle concept and earns the gratitude of the economically weaker section of the society.
