The Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair

The Pre-Diwali Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair is an annual   event. The fair provides a platform where the NGOs and the SHGs can showcase and sell products made as a part of their income generation activities and generate awareness about the work done by them. It provides them an unique opportunity to learn, share, network, generate new ideas & awareness about the marketing trends with the urban and rural market and above all exposure of the rural NGOs/SHGs with the urban market and customers.

The participating NGOs/SHGs are from across Maharashtra and from outside like Gujarat and Karnataka who exhibit and sell their products ranging from sweets, gifting articles, chocolates, candles, flower vases, organic cereals, Paithani sarees and much more with the motto “Achchi Kharidari, Achcha Karma”.

In Brief - Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair

The Fair is being called the Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair since yellow is a colour that signifies happiness or joyousness while the ribbon symbolizes gift of hope. Every NGO participating in the fair is working dedicatedly for the upliftment of one section of the society or the other.  Each brings joy and hope to thousands of people and therefore, the Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair.

The Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair is organized at Ishanya Mall, India’s largest design centre and specialty mall located at the Airport road, Pune which has marketing strategy to support the NGOs engaged in Income Generation Activities (IGA) thereby promoting the lower income group artisans and entrepreneurs.
