Patient Care Course

The Ishanya Foundation has started a four month ‘Patient Care Course’ which began on 15th September 2009. A total of 21 participants were enrolled for the 1st batch and 27 registered for the 2nd batch of the course which is being conducted in collaboration with Jan Shikshan Sanstha and Jehangir Hospital. The course involves one month of theoretical sessions  at the Ishanya Foundation center and three months of practical exposure in different wards at Jehangir Hospital.


Front Desk Receptionist Course in Hospitals and Clinics

The Ishanya Foundation has started a one month livelihood skills training program in ‘Front Desk Receptionist Course in Hospitals and Clinics’ which began on 7th September 2009 at the Ishanya Foundation center at DFPCL. The course content focuses on personality development, communication skills, co-ordination and other aspects related to health and hospitals/clinics. In Addition it gives students exposure to computer knowledge and usage which is an essential skill in today’s world.
We received 21 registrations and it was conducted in collaboration with a well known NGO Bhagini Nivedita Pratishthan.
