Mrs Kirti Akhade

I am Mrs Kirti Akhade and am physically challenged . I have two sons and my husband is also physically challenged.I wanteded to do a job to support my family. It was at this time that Ishanya Foundation came to my doorstep and encouraged me to do the course on Professional Beauty Practice, Mehendi and spoken English. I went in my wheelchair to the centre to learn the course.

I did the course at Ishanya Foundation centre which groomed me not only the in the course but also improved my personality which lead to my overall development. After the course the foundation supported me with placement at one of the leading parlours in the city. I started earning Rs 3000/- per month. After few months of doing the job, I started my own parlour at home.

My name is Pooja and had very keen interest in the profession of Beauty. I could not afford to pay high fees for learning the course. It was at this time I came to know about the course being conducted at Ishanya Foundation. I was a very shy character and never moved out of the house alone. After the course, the foundation encouraged me a lot  and gave me employment at one of the leading parlours in the city.

I am now a successful beautician and also can speak good English with confidence. I am earning Rs 5000/- per month and the customers look forward to me for doing head massage and body massage.
